I've been a dirty stop out these past couple of weeks; rubbing shoulders with Manchester's Glitterati for your eyes only and Glitterati glamour has definitely graced this summer!
Russchian cocktails provided by Schweppes Russchian towers, were flowing all night and guests were treated to a delicious, selection of the finest Japanese canapes. Northern Quarter's favourite Ben, resident DJ of Odd Bar, had guests dancing throughout the night to classic house tunes.

Christmas Antics
Tis the season to be jolly especially with the expectations to get up to mischief at your work's Christmas party! I am have been given some interesting facts from a survey taken by the exclusive, members only venue, The Circle Club.
The Manchester Wheel
After living in Manchester for 2 years, I thought it was about time I gave the wheel a go; it was just my luck that it happened to be a very wet and windy day! I dragged my partner David along and apart from the rain and the rather rocky ride, we really enjoyed the views.
For those who haven't tried the Manchester Wheel, I definitely recommend it! It has been built in the heart of Manchester city centre and there is an option to have a commentary played, so you know what you are looking at and learn a bit of history. It was very interesting! Keep an eye out for two for one offers as it could work out quite costly if there is a group of you going.

Genesis Keep Fit and Pink 10km walk
I took part in the Genesis 'Keep Fit and Pink' 10km walk to raise money to help fight breast cancer. Albert Square was painted pink! Friends and family including men and their pets wore bright pink tutus and pink afro wigs to get in the spirit to raise money for the charity.
Live music was played as a 'Mr Motivator' type fitness instructor helped us all get warmed up! There were thousands of Genesis supporters including a whole host of celebrities; Rebecca Atkinson (star of Channel Four Shameless), Gordon Burns (BBC North West Tonight presenter), Dr Chris Steele (from ITV's This Morning), Sally Whittaker (Coronation Street), Diane Modahl (top ex-Olympic and Commonwealth Games athlete) and many more.
The day was given an added sparkle by the addition of the starlets from The Birdcage who entertained the pink troops!
One in ten women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime and a third of these women will never be cured. It's not too late to make a donation to help save lives.

Lady Boys are back in town
Me and Becky were lucky enough to get front row seats to see the Lady Boys of Bangkok in action.
There was lots of glitz and glamour and fantastic cabaret entertainment that had everyone (including me and Becky) on their feet! The performances were fantastic and some were cheeky! Songs included classics from Take That, It's Raining Men and Abba.
Be warned if you are sitting in the front row, be prepared to be dragged up on stage! As our Becky soon found out! Becky was pulled up on stage and asked to stand on the host (who was half naked and dressed as superman) whilst he lay on a bed of nails! To top it all off she was wearing her favourite pair of stilettos!
The drinks were reasonable and the food was delicious! I definitely recommend The Lady Boys of Bangkok-Mile High Tour to everyone!! Check out our Lifestyle Events for further information on the show and ticket information.
